Action of the film "Boondocks" begins in September 1945. To the far Siberian railway station arrives from war demobilized tank driver who was the driver of the steam locomotive in civilian life. Throughout his life he was interested in steam locomotives. This hobby has become the meaning of his life. Once he found out that in the Siberian forests there is the broken German steam locomotive, released before the war. Ignat decided to repair this machine and starts to work. Soon it turns out that this trainbelongs to the daughter of the German expert, who early in the war was captured, and she had to live in it through the war.
